About the Global Youth Action Fund
The Global Youth Action Fund is a program the International Baccalaureate (IB) started because they believe young people can make the world a better place. Every day, they see young students who are passionate about making a difference, and they want to help support their ideas. In 2019, the IB launched a grant called the Dr. Siva Kumari MYP Student Innovators Grant, which helped start 88 projects led by middle school students from around the world.

Now, the IB wants to do even more to help young people. They are starting the Global Youth Action Fund, which is open to any student or group of students between the ages of 12 and 19. If you have a project or idea that you think can make a positive impact in your community, you can apply for this award. By offering this funding, the IB hopes to shine a spotlight on the amazing work that young people are doing, both at IB schools and in other places around the world.
