MultiChoice is proud to be an Official Nominator and to announce the search for the future Winners of The Earthshot Prize 2024. The program was launched in 2020, with an ambitious global prize for the environment. The Earthshot Prize is made to discover, celebrate, and scale the best innovative solutions to help the planet.
The global environment-saving program is seeking innovators, entrepreneurs, community leaders, and activists working to find innovative solutions to climate change.
The Earthshot Prize will award £1 million each to five annual winners with innovative solutions that have the most progress towards our five Earthshots to scale their projects. Those nominated will have detailed assessments in the final selection by Prince William and The Earthshot Prize Council.
MultiChoice is an official nominator of over three hundred (300) organizations across the world who are invited to submit nominations and are selected for their ability to identify the most impactful solutions across all sectors, from grassroots to businesses.

The Earthshot Prize seeks to discover, accelerate, and scale cutting-edge solutions to regenerate the planet.
MultiChoice is a partner and member of The Earthshot Prize Global Alliance and is issuing a call for African organizations who have scalable and impactful solutions that are aimed at repairing the planet to enter into any of the five categories of the Earthshot Prize.
Categories for the MultiChoice Earthshot Prize
Participants are to enter into any of these five:
- Protect and Restore Nature
- Clean our Air
- Revive our Oceans
- Build a Waste-Free World and
- Fix our Climate

Eligibility and Requirements for the MultiChoice Earthshot Prize
Participants must meet the following:
- Participants must have tangible solutions that have made progress towards the above five (5) Earthshots.
- Participant’s solutions must be beyond the idea stage.
- Participants must have tested their solution in the field or with target audiences and are ready to scale their impact within the next five years.
- Participants should have a solution that is inspiring, inclusive, and impactful.
What You Stand to Gain from the MultiChoice Earthshot Prize
Five (5) selected annual winners with innovative solutions will receive funding of £1 million each.
