Applications are now open for the 2024 RSTMH Early Career Grants Program. The RSTMH Early Career Grants Program provides grants every year to those early in their career, from anywhere in the world, to carry out their first piece of research into tropical medicine or global health.
Their grants program has been established for over 40 years and has seen significant growth. Since 2017, we have given out more than 800 awards across 66 countries. The projects can be on any topic related to tropical medicine and global health from across the research spectrum in the lab, translation, implementation, and policy.
Eligibility and Requirements for the RSTMH Early Career Grants Program
- Participants who have not received a research grant of £5,000 or more in their name before, can develop and deliver their first research project.
- Applications are welcomed from researchers from anywhere in the world.
What You Stand to Gain
The selected project will receive the following:
- The selected project will receive a maximum RSTMH Early Career Grant award is (£5,000 including any taxes on relevant purchases).
- The project should take up to one year to be completed and should start within three (3) months of receiving funding.
The application deadline is the 22nd of April, 2024.
