LASRIC is seeking innovators with ideas in areas like education(Learning Solutions, Skills development, and digital literacy), security(security, Information, and Communication Technology, Energy), housing and health(Housing, Energy, Land Use, Urbanization, and Habitable cities, Manufacturing, Healthcare), environment(Climate change, Food security, water conservation and Flood Management, Materials), tourism(Media and Creative industry, Hospitality and Tourism, Sports, Entertainment, Transportation), agriculture(Food Security, Water conservation, Traditional Botanical, and Medicinal knowledge.), energy and power(Access to bank facilities, thrift societies, and other Financial solutions), transportation(Access to bank facilities, thrift societies, and other Financial solutions), and financial inclusion(Access to bank facilities, thrift societies, and other Financial solutions) to take Lagos State, Nigeria to the next level, making it the center hub of technology.

Lagos is one of the largest cities in the world and is on the road to being a smart city. Some challenges it faces need acceleration in socio-economic development in all sectors. Participants are to know the problem and the number of people affected by it and provide a unique solution that is commercially viable.
LASRIC is looking for a proposal with solutions provided that will be valuable to its target customers. Participant’ ability to execute and their achievement to data and forecasts.
Eligibility and Requirements for the LASRIC Innovation in Nigeria
- Participants must be a citizen of Nigeria.
- Participants must be of 18years of age.
- Participant’s application must contain their original work.
- Participants are to have an MVP (minimum viable product).
- Participants should be able to fund their team travel expenses.
- Participants should be able to represent LASRIC as an Ambassador.
What You Stand to Gain from the LASRIC Innovation in Nigeria
The winner of LASRIC Cohort II will, subject to the Terms & Conditions, receive Funding of N5,000,000 (five million Naira)
